Beyond the Basics – Main Range Explorer
Take the skills and confidence you built in our Intro to Touring clinic and put them to work in bigger terrain. These tours venture further into the Main Range, linking ridgelines, bowls, and longer descents for a true alpine experience. You’ll refine your movement, decision-making, and route-finding while exploring some of the most stunning backcountry in Australia — all with a guide to help you take the next step safely and confidently.
Western Faces – The Mega Day Out
This is the ultimate backcountry mission. The Western Faces offer Australia’s steepest and most spectacular terrain — long climbs, big descents, and the kind of views that make the effort worth it. This full-day tour is for experienced tourers ready to push their limits, linking iconic lines and exploring deep into the Main Range. Expect a big adventure with serious vertical, technical terrain, and the reward of skiing some of the wildest runs in the country.
